Daniel's Miami: Reviews & Ratings
I couldn’t have asked for a better venue to celebrate my birthday evening. Daniel’s was all that and more. I truly wanted to be surprised, so I didn’t read up on the restaurant beforehand. I had heard it was relatively new in Miami and that reservations could be hard to secure on short notice. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, creating the perfect ambiance for a special celebration. The staff was extremely attentive, and the dishes were nothing short of divine. We each started with a cocktail and listened carefully to our wonderful server, Diagna, for recommendations. She guided us flawlessly, and every selection was delicious. We decided to share everything…starting with Farmer Mike’s Iceberg Wedge Salad, Hamachi Crudo & Strawberries, and the Florida Blue Crab Cake. Every bite was rich, fresh, and bursting with flavor. For our main course, we continued sharing and selected the 24oz bone-in NY strip steak. We paired it with a twice-baked potato, corn pudding, and crimini mushrooms. Once again, every bite was superp…perfectly prepared and absolutely satisfying. For dessert, we chose the banana bread with toffee pour. Daniel’s surprised me with a special birthday flan, along with a shared “create your own” sundae served on a platter with mini glass bowls filled with sprinkles, M&Ms, brownies, Oreos, and fudge topping. We felt like children again building our creations. Thank you to Diagna and the entire staff who made my birthday celebration so memorable and special. I highly recommend Daniel’s in South Miami!
I'm very skeptical of most expensive restaurants in Miami as I've been let down plenty. Daniel's passes this skepticism test with flying colors! I mean this place is insanely good and, hate to say it, worth every penny. Let me start by saying the staff is top tier attentive and incredible; everyone from our server Diagna to the GM, John, who is probably best in class and responsible for keeping such a prestigious place impeccable on all levels. So to the food; the steak specifically. I ordered an Australian wagyu ribeye and the hanger steak for the table and my god...ELITE quality and execution. The execution is the real kicker, because I like my steaks black and blue -basically charred outside and rare inside-- and Daniel's cooks delivered a flawless steak on what is a difficult cooking style. The hanger was buttery and the ribeye (cooked med rare) was insanely good. Even ordered a decadent Dover sole filet that was delicious. Dropped a few photos here of some standouts, including the Summer in Madrid drink (refreshing), the enormous tiger shrimp, the absurdly soft and delicate Florida blue crab cake and the chocolate cake that is perfect for people with a superhuman sweet tooth. All incredible. To sum things up; as much as I'm a guy who hates paying a lot of money for restaurant experiences, since I myself cook very well at home, Daniel's is worth treating yourself to if you can afford it. And trust me when I say...that statement coming from me talking about a $150+/person restaurant is a crazy compliment that I've never given to any restaurant in Miami. Best steakhouse in Miami by a mile.
Let me preface this review by saying I visited both locations in the span of 6 days. Daniel’s deserves 1000/10! My first visit at the Fort Lauderdale location included a great cocktail, yummy focaccia, THE BEST CAESAR SALAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, branzino cooked to perfection and a spicy rigatoni to match. We ended the birthday celebration with a skillet cookie that we were (unfortunately) too full to finish. The meal was so delicious, that we visited the Coral Gables location 6 days later. This time we sat at the bar to wait for our table, but it was so comfortable and such great vibes on a Saturday night, that we just chose to stay and enjoyed great music and cocktails that started off so well, that by my third I just asked the bartender to choose for me. We started with the oysters and the some of the freshest, most amazing hamachi crudo I’ve had. We OBVIOUSLY ran the Caesar salad back and the branzino as well. This time we added a filet that was cooked to perfection and accompanied by their own beautifully-made steak sauce. For the side dish this night, we had the twice baked potato…… just wow. Writing this review had me ready to make my next reservation. Again, 1000/10!
We went to Daniel’s for a birthday and had a wonderful time. We called a week in advance to see if they could fit us in for a reservation and they were able to accommodate, which was incredible! The service was incredible, our waiter was super attentive and knowledgeable on all things. Drinks were great as well, I got the winter in Miami and while it tasted a little bit like cold medicine to me because of the mix, it was still very well made and enjoyable. The lychee martini was 10/10 incredible. They also have a great wine list. The appetizers were the star of the show in my opinion (along with the sides), super tasty, perfectly cooked and very well balanced flavors. I ordered the filet mignon and it was incredible, but similar to what you would have at any nice steakhouse, so I would probably go with another one of their cuts, which looked top tier. The fish looked amazing as well, and I am definitely coming back to try their short rib lasagna - sounds delicious. For sides we got a ton of things and they were all so worth it. Twice baked potato took first place but we loved everything. Overall, had a great time here and while pricey, it was very worth it!
Amazing! We went here for my boyfriend’s birthday to the steak and cigar night and it was an amazing time! The service was amazing especially the floor manager Cristian Delgado he was super accommodating. They carried a heater over to me because i was chilly, and brought a little table over for my purse. Excellent wine menu and great recommendations by the staff plus they accommodated us wanting to order certain dishes from the extended dinner menu from downstairs which was great!!! We will definitely be coming back with family and friends and texting Christian!!!!
This was our first time here, and we would definitely return. We did a reservation I don’t know how they manage the walk ins. The service, the vibe, and food were all 10/10. They had valet parking (But there is a public paid parking lot nearby if you are interested). We were there in brunch (something really good is that the prefix menu that they offer for brunch $45 pp), so it’s important to mentioned the menu is a little bit different that the dinner because for example I would have liked to try the crab cake or the hamachi crudo & strawberries, but it was only available for dinner. However, that gives me an excuse to return. I highly recommend the sourdough (ITS AMAZING), flat iron steak, and branzino. Next time I would like to try Vodka Pasta, Kansas City and Wagyu Empanadas. The wine menu is marvelous too many choices, by the glass or bottle. It was an absolute success choose this place to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you for making our anniversary an unforgettable day.
Daniel’s has emerged as a definitive standout among Miami’s steakhouse landscape, confidently earning its place at the top of my personal list. The menu reveals a commanding repertoire of prime cuts, thoughtfully curated and executed with technical precision. Each selection speaks not only to quality sourcing but to a kitchen that understands restraint, temperature control, and the quiet confidence of proper aging. The starters, far from being mere preludes, demonstrate depth and balance also layered, indulgent, and meticulously composed. The ambiance strikes a refined equilibrium between contemporary elegance and classic steakhouse gravitas, while the service team operates with polished intuition which present without intrusion, knowledgeable without excess. Daniel’s is not simply a place to dine; it is a destination for those who appreciate the ritual of a well executed steakhouse experience, elevated by sophistication and intention.
I can confidently say this is probably my favorite restaurant I’ve been to in my 20 years of living in Miami. The service was absolutely the best I’ve ever experienced—I wanted to come back immediately before I even left. A huge thank you to Andres (our server) and Antonio (server assistant) for taking such great care of us. The food was just as incredible as the service. The tartare was refreshing, and the bread with the honey topping is a must-order. For the main, we shared the dry-aged cowboy ribeye, which was cooked perfectly and was the perfect size for two people. We paired it with the lobster mac and cheese, which was awesome and had a generous portion of lobster. To top it all off, the manager, Christian, went out of his way to send us a complimentary dessert, which made our special day even better. Thank you to the entire team—I will definitely be back soon.
